First stage of Inner West Busway opens in Rozelle in December
The first section of bus lane for the Inner West Busway has been completed. It will be operating in Rozelle from Terry Street through to The Crescent from 6-10am on weekdays from Monday 14 December, 2009.
Once the bus lane is operational for the weekday morning peaks, motorists will notice changes between Terry and Gordon streets, including:
A citybound bus lane from Terry Street to Darling Street, three all traffic.through lanes and one right turn lane into Darling Street during morning peak.
The T3 transit lane will now terminate at Terry Street, Rozelle just beyond the Iron Cove Bridge.

How to use bus lanes safely and legally
Bus lanes are primarily for buses, but can also be used by taxis, hire cars, motorcycles or bicycles, emergency vehicles and special purpose vehicles.
General traffic is also permitted to travel in a bus lane for up to 100 metres to turn into or out of a side road, enter or leave a property adjacent to the bus lane or to pass another vehicle which has stopped to turn right or to avoid an obstruction.
