Cyclist and pedestrian improvements

Improvements to cyclist and pedestrian facilities in Drummoyne and Rozelle were identified as important issues in community discussion for the Inner West Busway project.

In September 2008, the RTA described proposed improvements to cyclist and pedestrian facilities. Feedback from the community and discussions with cycle groups helped develop the preferred cycleway and pedestrian improvements.

Review of environmental factors

A review of environmental factors, which assesses the environmental impacts of the proposal, has been prepared for the preferred option.

Entry of written submissions is now closed. Submissions on the proposal will be considered and the environmental assessment will be finalised. A decision on whether to proceed with the project will follow.
